eBooks in the Overdrive and O'Reilly databases, as well as some of the eBooks in other databases, require a MiraCosta user account for access and are not available to community patrons.

Other eBooks may not require patrons to log in and can be accessed on the lab computers. 

Many public libraries, including the Oceanside Public Library, Carlsbad Public Library, and San Diego County Library have eBook collections. The California State Library also provides access to eBooks and eAudiobooks for all Californians through the California Bookshelf.
