First-Time Laptop Login Instructions
When logging into your laptop for the first time, please follow these steps:

Power up the laptop; pick US as the country, then US as the keyboard.

Connect to a Wi-Fi network.

Log in using your student email; For example: W1234567@student.miracosta.edu

Sign in to Okta using your SURF ID and password.

Once authenticated, Windows will take approximately 20 minutes to complete setup.

After logging in, allow additional time for essential apps to download, including:
- Microsoft Office
- Zoom
- Adobe
- Vivi
Note: You will need to log in each time the laptop shuts down or goes to sleep.
