Q. How do I alphabetize if the work has no author and the title starts with a number?

For both MLA and APA style, alphabetize the title as if the number were spelled out. For example, if the title is "1914: The Coming of the First World War," alphabetize as if 1914 were spelled out: "Nineteen Fourteen" then place it in the correct alphabetical order.
