Gale's Opposing Viewpoints In Context is a library database that covers today's hottest social issues with summaries, viewpoints, academic articles, etc.. . It is accessible through the library's website. To get there:
- Navigate to the library's homepage
- Click on Databases (in white letters under Onesearch)
- Locate the link for Opposing Viewpoints (databases are in alphabetical order) and click the link to open the database
In addition, MiraCosta also has access to CQ Researcher, which is another database offering opposing viewpoints. You can also find a good introduction to a topic or issue by using one of our reference databases which provide really good background information:
Note: Surf ID and Password are needed for off-site access to electronic resources
