Q. I need to find information on global warming.

The Library has a lot of great resources that can help with this topic. Here's how to get started:

• Start with a reference database, such as Gale Ebooks or Oxford Reference Online to get some background information on the topic.  Type global warming in the search box and look for results from the last couple of years (remember this is a rapidly changing topic so you want recent information).

• Find books on the topic by searching OneSearch for "climate change" or "global warming."

• Look for newspaper, magazine, and scholarly articles in one of these databases:
  • Scientific American Online
  • Gale In Context: Science
  • Gale In Context: Environmental Studies

• Check out some helpful websites, such as:
  • New Scientist's guide to Climate Change
  • NASA: Global Climate Change - Vital Signs of the Planet
