During the Spring 2021 semester, placing an online hold will result in the material being mailed to you. There is no charge for this service.

Here are the steps:

  • Using the OneSearch tool, search for the item you would like to borrow.
  • Once you find the catalog record for the item, look for the section header "Get It" and at the prompt, log in with your student ID and password.
  • On the next screen, click 'Request'; you will notice that the 'pick up location' is set to Home Address - meaning the item will be automatically mailed to the home address you have on file with Miracosta College.
  • Once you have successfully completed the request, an email confirmation will be sent to you and the item will be mailed to your home.
