Books and DVDs from the regular circulating collection can be checked out in person or requested for later pick up by placing a hold using the Library's OneSearch tool.
Currently enrolled MiraCosta students will need to present a SURF ID card or alternate photo ID (drivers license, Real ID, military ID, passport) when checking out materials from the Library. This includes items in the Closed Reserves section. Please see our Borrowing page for more information.
Note: Textbooks on Reserve usually cannot leave the library. Please see our Textbooks page for more information.
