The MiraCosta College Library not only contains physical books, media, and periodicals within the library but it also contains eBooks, eMedia, and other electronic resources which can be accessed online.

Physical books housed in the library contain call numbers, like an address where the book lives on the shelves. We, and other academic institutions, use the Library of Congress Classification System to sort the books. (Public libraries use the Dewey Decimal System.) If you look a book up in the catalog and it gives you a call number, you can take that to the library and find that book in that location.

Because the eBooks, and other electronic sources, are not here in the stacks (bookshelves) they do not require a call number. Rather you can just click on the red link that says Web Link to open and read an available eBook.
