You need a SURF ID and password to place a hold. For help with your SURF ID and password, go to http://www.miracosta.edu/studentservices/studenthelp/studentpasswordinfo.html
If a book or other item is currently checked out, patrons may place a hold on it by using the Place Hold feature in the library catalog. Patrons may arrange to have materials sent to the Oceanside campus, San Elijo campus, or the Community Learning Center (CLC). Step 1: Click on "Place Hold" to request an item be sent to any campus (Oceanside, San Elijo, or Community Learning Center).
Step 2: Enter your SURF ID & Password, choose which location you would like to pick the item up from, then click on "Place Hold".
