If you are in the library, and you need to use the item for longer than the check-out period, please go to the circulation desk to request additional time. Unless there are other users waiting for the item, you may continue using it. In most cases, course reserves are for use in the library only. However, a small number of items may be checked out overnight. The loan period is indicated on the catalog record.

If the item has been checked out of the library and is overdue, we ask that you return it as soon as possible. Course reserve items cannot be renewed.

For more information about overdue items, please go here: Overdue Items, Fines & Holds.

You may also call the Circulation Desk at: (760) 795-6715 (Oceanside) OR (760) 634-7850 (San Elijo)
