Films on Demand is a database of streaming educational videos.

You can access this database from the library's database collection:  Databases A to Z, or from the direct link:  Films on Demand.  Please keep in mind that if you are accessing this or any database from an off-campus location, you will need to have your SURF ID and password.

There are a few search options in Films on Demand.  You can browse "All Titles" by scrolling and finding a subject of interest, such as Anthropology or Criminal Justice, etc...

You can use the search box on the upper-right-hand side of the screen and enter a keyword.

Clicking on the menu item "Featured Producers" will also allow you to find films by various production companies, such as the History Channel or the BBC.

Once you select a video, you can view the entire film or you can view segments within the film.  The right-hand-side of the screen shows a summary of each segment and the time alloted to it.

If you have any further questions regarding this or any other database, PLEASE feel free to contact a librarian.
